Polski Rajd Legend 2026 Draws an Estimated 100,000 Spectators

The 2026 Polski Rajd Legend has cemented its place in motorsport history as the largest edition of the event to date. Based on observations across multiple stages, ANS News estimates that as many as 100,000 spectators attended the rally in total across all locations in the Kłodzko Valley.

The figure is not an official count from the organiser. It is an estimate based on direct observation of the event, reports from individual stages, and the scale of crowd-related challenges experienced throughout the weekend.

Record Entry List Sets the Stage

The rally entered record territory before a single car turned a wheel. A total of 135 crews registered for the event, including 38 competing in a demonstration capacity. The programme featured 12 special stages covering nearly 69 competitive kilometres.

With those numbers, organisers already had reason to expect record attendance. Reality appears to have exceeded expectations.

Kłodzko Stage Packs in Tens of Thousands

The urban special stage through the streets of Kłodzko was the single most striking example of the crowd scale. Stage 3 measured approximately 3.7 kilometres and wound through city streets, giving spectators a vast number of vantage points along the route.

ANS News estimates that between 40,000 and 50,000 spectators gathered in Kłodzko for that stage alone. Crowds were observed standing in rows up to ten or fifteen deep in places, lining pavements, verges, slopes, and barriers well beyond the most popular corners.

Local authorities and media had warned residents and visitors of significant traffic restrictions ahead of the event. The city of Kłodzko confirmed that special traffic management measures were required to ensure the safety of competitors, fans, and residents.

Saturday Stages Draw Large Crowds Across the Region

The following day brought nine special stages centred on Polanica-Zdrój, Spalona, Duszniki-Zdrój, and Zieleniec. Organisers had prepared dedicated car parks, spectator zones, campervan areas, and bivouac spaces at each location. Despite this, infrastructure came under serious pressure in many areas, with available parking filling up rapidly.

Zieleniec offered large natural grandstands on the hillside slopes. Spalona provided access points near the Jagodna Pass. Polanica featured several expanded spectator zones, while Radków also designated bivouac areas for the rally's most committed fans.

What the 100,000 Figure Actually Means

The estimated 100,000 figure refers to the total audience across the entire event, not a single simultaneous crowd at one location. Some spectators watched multiple stages. Others attended only in Kłodzko, or only in Polanica, Zieleniec, or Spalona. Many also took in the ceremonial start, service parks, and surrounding activities.

A notable point of reference comes from Leszek Kuzaj, who told SportoweFakty that the level of fan interest was shocking to him. He referenced figures of approximately 20,000 spectators at the prologue and more than 50,000 during the rally itself. Those numbers align closely with the ANS News estimate and confirm that talking about tens of thousands of fans in the Kłodzko Valley is far from abstract.

A New Benchmark for Polish Motorsport

Just a few years ago, it would have been difficult to imagine a historic rally event attracting this level of public interest. The third edition of Polski Rajd Legend gathered a record car count and some of the biggest names in Polish rally history.

If actual attendance was even close to the estimated figure, Polski Rajd Legend has established itself as one of the largest motorsport events in Poland by the number of spectators present directly at the stages.
