Super One Delivers Drama at Fulbeck with Razor-Thin Margins Across Double-Header Weekend

Super One brought Rounds 7 and 8 of its national karting championship to Fulbeck Kart Circuit in Lincolnshire on 4 and 5 July 2026, producing two days of intensely close racing across more than ten categories. Several finals were decided by less than two tenths of a second, with drivers from MightE to Senior Rotax separated by margins that demanded precision from the first lap to the last.

Round 7: Saturday Sets the Tone

Saturday's programme ran in dry conditions with temperatures around 23 to 24 degrees Celsius. The results across the board reflected the quality of the field.

In Senior Rotax, Jarick Metters claimed victory by just 0.095 seconds from Morgan Hudsonbrown, one of the narrowest margins of the weekend. Tom Nottingham completed the podium 0.371 seconds behind Metters, while Hudsonbrown posted the fastest lap with a 44.016.

Honda Cadet GX200 was another late drama. Henry Colbourne won by only 0.104 seconds from Oliver Wratten, with Phoebe Shelton third. Wratten set the fastest lap with a 51.614.

Inter Max produced its own close finish. Charlie Gregg beat Sam Dixon by 0.155 seconds, with Charlie Heffer third. Dixon set the fastest lap on the final lap with a 47.255.

In IAME M1, Oakley Rudman held off Shay Downey by 0.172 seconds, with Jack Rossi Minot third only 0.356 seconds off the win. Presley Knight set the fastest lap.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Max Tetlow won the MightE Final by 0.261 seconds from Eli Parkhouse, Isaac Jameson took Junior Max ahead of Laurie McVeigh and Kian Hundal, and Daniel Stangerean claimed MightE Cadet. Zayn Sofuoglu won the combined Micro Max and IAME Waterswift Restricted Final, while Matthew Pearson took Comer C50 and Harry Stinson claimed MightE Super Cadet.

Round 8: Sunday Continues the Theme

Sunday's Round 8 ran under light cloud on a dry track. The margins, if anything, tightened further.

Max Tetlow doubled up in MightE, but Luka Pead was only 0.088 seconds behind at the flag, the closest finish of the entire weekend. Tetlow also posted the fastest lap with a 1:01.307.

Inter Max again delivered on Sunday. Charlie Gregg won from Charlie Heffer by 0.093 seconds, with Sam Dixon third just 0.203 seconds off the win. Gregg also set the fastest lap with a 47.655.

Zayn Sofuoglu took a second successive Micro Max and IAME Waterswift Restricted victory, with Ralph Ewer finishing only 0.167 seconds behind and Jenson Drummond third at 0.363 seconds. Ewer set the fastest lap.

In IAME M1, Presley Knight converted strong pace into victory, beating Jack Rossi Minot by 0.192 seconds. In Comer C50, Matthew Pearson doubled up with Logan Grassi just 0.158 seconds back.

Henry Colbourne again won Honda Cadet GX200, this time ahead of Oliver Wratten and Reggie Dufficy. Colbourne also took the fastest lap. Laurie McVeigh reversed Saturday's Junior Max result to take the win, with Daniel Stangerean and Harry Stinson both completing back-to-back category victories in MightE Cadet and MightE Super Cadet respectively.

Jarick Metters rounded out a dominant weekend with a second Senior Rotax win, beating George Cole to the flag.

A Circuit That Rewards the Best

Fulbeck Kart Circuit, which describes itself as the "Home of Real Racing Since 1959," is regarded as one of the UK's more technical karting venues. Its layout demands consistent braking, strong race craft and composure under pressure, qualities that Super One's national format puts on full display.
