On 29 August 2026, the third edition of the Polski Rajd Legend will bring legendary rally cars back to one of the most storied stretches of tarmac in Polish motorsport. OS Spalona, a 5.40 km stage drawing from the historic Nowa Bystrzyca,Spalona route, stands as one of Saturday's most anticipated highlights, and for good reason: the cars will tackle it three times in a single day.

A Stage With History Behind Every Corner

OS Spalona is not a stage that needs an introduction to those familiar with Polish rallying. Its mountain character, a blend of fast flowing sections and tight technical hairpins, has long made it one of the most demanding and rewarding stretches in the country. Drivers who know it well respect it. Spectators who have stood roadside remember it.

For the 2026 Polski Rajd Legend, the organiser has built the day's programme around this stage in a way that rewards patient fans. Rather than chasing cars from one location to the next, spectators can arrive early, find a prime spot in one of three official Hand Brake Zones, and watch the action unfold across all three runs.

The schedule runs as follows: OS 5 Spalona at 09:01, OS 8 Spalona at 12:37, and OS 11 Spalona at 16:13. Each pass covers the full 5.40 km.

Three Hand Brake Zones, Three Different Experiences

The organiser has designated three official spectator zones along the stage, each offering a distinct perspective on the action.

HBZ 1: The Hairpin Just After the Start

The first zone sits close to the start and centres on a dramatic hairpin. Spectators can watch from both the inside and outside of the turn, within designated safe sectors. The combination of hard braking, car rotation and a sharp exit makes this a strong choice for fans who want close, intense action and a clear view of how different crews handle the same corner. A catering area is available on site. Cars should be left on one side of the road in the direction of Stara Bystrzyca or Mloty, and access is only possible from the start side.

HBZ 2: The Popular Hairpin Near the Finish

The second zone, located near the finish end of the stage, is the most versatile of the three. It features a well-known hairpin with generous spectator space, parking nearby at the Jagodna Pass, and the option to camp and barbecue, making it an ideal base for groups planning to spend the bulk of Saturday at Spalona. Access from the parking area requires a short walk along a marked path. With three passes and a relaxed atmosphere, HBZ 2 suits families and those looking to settle in for the full day.

HBZ 3: Where Speed Takes Over

The third zone is a departure from the hairpin spectacle of HBZ 1 and HBZ 2. Positioned on a sequence of fast corners before the finish, it offers an excellent view of the stage's quicker sections. This spot is already familiar to fans of Rajd Polski and the Lower Silesian rallies. Here, the differences between driving styles become most visible as competitors carry speed through successive bends rather than scrubbing it off for a tight turn. Access is also via the path from the Jagodna Pass parking area.

One Stage, A Full Day of Rallying

The triple-run format gives Spalona a unique rhythm. As the day progresses, conditions may shift, crews gain confidence or adapt their approach, and the stage itself becomes a story told in three chapters. For fans of historic machinery in particular, watching the same cars attack the same corners across morning, midday and afternoon passes adds a layer of depth that a single run cannot provide.

The organiser has placed 18 Hand Brake Zones across four stages for this year's event, with additional spectator areas on the town stage in Klodzko.
